A court has set a new trial date for Travis Vader.

He will be facing first degree murder charges in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann, of St. Albert.

Last year, those charges were stayed, but the crown later decided to proceed with the case again and Vader was re-arrested in December.

He will be tried by judge and jury in March of next year.

The bodies of the McCanns were never found. They were last seen in July of 2010, heading out in their motorhome on a road trip to B-C.

Their burned out RV was later found near Edson, with no trace of the couple.
