CBC News has learned the man accused of murdering St. Albert seniors Lyle and Marie McCann now faces new charges.

Vader allegedly assaulted a person in St. Albert on Thursday. He's also accused of failing to comply with his release conditions.

He was scheduled to be released Friday night and ordered to wear an ankle monitoring device.

Alberta's department of justice was not able to provide details of the incident.

Vader is due back in St. Albert court on the new charges Mar. 9.

The murder trial is scheduled to begin in March of next year.

There is nothing the RCMP want more than to lock this guy away forever. Unfortunately, there is no end to the lawyers lining up desperately wanting to represent this scumbag. It's quite a feather in a lawyer's cap to get the vilest & filthiest of criminals off the hook. They're always quite proud of themselves for their work of this nature. Then there's the loser judges working in cahoots with the dummy lawyers.

S'all I got.

Why isn't he back inside the slammer?

Are we gonna wait until he kills an RCMP officer like the last bozo who should have been inside?
