A familiar Edson face showed up at the court house on Tuesday, March 17 as Travis Vader appeared once again via CCTV (online video) where he was detained as a prisoner, his orange jumpsuit contrasted greatly with the dark wood surrounding the court room.
Vader is known for being charged regarding the murder of Lyle and Marie McCann in 2010 after the couple went missing. The charges were stayed by the court in December of this past year, and Vader was released by bail on Christmas Eve with the condition of 24/7 house arrest until his murder trial which will continue during the spring of 2016.
However, on February 23, Vader breached his bail conditions when he went to a spot in rural Edson for an outdoor party, where he was charged with six counts of breach of recognizance and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Due to disclosure and jurisdiction issues, Vader's case has been scheduled for April 7th where the authorities will authorize Vader to make a in-person appearance at the Edson Courthouse and until then, Vader will remain in custody until his hearing.
