The prime suspect in the disappearance of Lyle and Marie McCann will only serve one more day in custody. Travis Vader received significant credit for time he's already served in custody.
Vader received a 33-and-a-half month global sentence for charges of arson and break and enter.

And when handing down the sentence, the judge cited the publicity from the high-profile disappearance as a major factor in the decision.
But with time already served, he will only need to serve another day in custody.
Both the Crown and defence said Vader was badly treated at the Remand Centre because he has been linked to the high-profile disappearance of Lyle and Marie McCann.
Vader has never been charged in relation to the McCanns' disappearance. The Crown was asking for a three to four-year prison term for the current charges.
"He had been identified as a person of interest in the McCann disappearance. That warrant had extra steps for his protection. The court found the Remand Centre acted entirely appropriately in keeping him safe, nonetheless, that imposed some additional hardships upon him," said Crown prosecutor Michelle Doyle.
Vader's lawyer calls the sentence a "well-reasoned decision."
"The court recognized the undue suffering he experienced in administrative segregation," said Daniel Mol.
Vader will not be getting out of the Remand Centre right away. He's being held on other matters as he awaits a trial in April related to some offences in Barrhead.
Vader has the option to apply for bail.
