Travis Vader is back in custody, after he was arrested last night on a breach of recognizance.

RCMP were not able to provide more information about the nature of the breach.

But a source told CBC News that Vader was taken into custody after he failed a drug test.

He will remain in jail.

Vader is currently on trial for first-degree murder in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann of St. Albert.

The defence is scheduled to begin its case Thursday.
